Dehn's started in 1958 by Allen and Willard Dehn, two local boys raised on the family farm four miles from here. The restaurant already was built and was sitting vacant when the farmers decided to buy the place for "something to do in the winter". Raising corn and wheat and beef transitioned easily to serving that beef in the Manor. We now sell more beef than raised on the farm, so it is procured from other local sources, still meeting the same high standards as our own beef.
Dehn's has placed a priority on community involvement since the beginning. Allen and Will are charter members of Dayton Lions club, Osseo, Maple Grove Lions have been meeting here since the 60's and we have been giving to and growing with the clubs since then.
We are honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to serve generations who are not just patrons, but our friends and family. We are excited about the future- new friends- new family!
Michael Dehn, Shawne McCarthy, and Terri Dehn McCarthy took over operations in 2005. Formerly working in kitchens and dining rooms in the Twin Cities, Chicago and San Francisco, these three bring a wide range of experience and ideas to the plate.
